GRAND MASTER YIP MAN

WING CHUN

Ip Man, also known as Yip Man was a Chinese martial artist, and a master teacher of Wing Chun. He had several students who later became martial arts masters in their own right.
His most famous student was Bruce Lee.

Lee Jun-fan, known professionally as Bruce Lee, was a Hong Kong and American martial artist, actor, philosopher, filmmaker, and founder of the martial art Jeet Kune Do

GRAND MASTER RICHARD BUSTILO

JEET KUNE DO & IMB

Richard  Bustillo was a Filipino-American martial arts instructor from Hawaii who was a student of the late Bruce Lee and an authority on Jeet Kune Do Concepts and Filipino Martial Arts. Aswell as the International Martial Arts and Boxing Academy.

MASTER JOHN CARRIGAN

HSIU LUNG TAO ( Jeet Kune Do )

John was accepted as a student under Sifu Bustillo and went on to become a Master Instructor with the IMB Academy of Los Angeles. John still practices the martial arts today running his own school in England teaching the art and philosophy of Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do.

When not teaching at the Academy, Vincent trains regularly with Mark Hobbs and the team at KFA. Mark’s expertise has a massive infleunce within Martial Arts Boxing Academy groundwork. Mark has a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling and submission Grappling, as well as being a Championship MMA, Muay Thai and Boxing Instructor, promoting and training pro fighters who regularly compete in the UFC and Bellator as well as leading UK and European MMA Promotions, of which we attend throughout the year.

Vincent started his journey in 1991 originally training Wing Chun/Boxing in his early late teens under Wing Chun Master Andrew Cameron who was a student of Master James Sinclair.

Vincent then progressed to Jeet Kune Do under Master John Carrigan who is a Master of JKD and was student of late Grand-Master Richard Bustillo (a former student of Bruce Lee). Vincent achieved trainee instructor in Jeet Kune Do under Master John Carrigan.

Vincent also Trains regularly with Instructor Steve Everest (Full Black Sash JKD Instructor under Master John Carrigan). They are great friends, sparring partners and Steve is a massive influence within Martial Arts Boxing Academy.

Along with Jeet Kune Do, Vincent is also inspired by Panantukan Dirty Boxing, Silat, Boxing, Wing Chun and Brazilian jiu-jitsu and enjoys attending Seminars all over the country.

INSTRUCTOR STEVE EVEREST

INSTRUCTOR 

(Full Black Sash JKD Instructor under Master John Carrigan) joined Martial Arts Boxing Academy and is a massive influence within the Academy.

Steve started his journey in his early 20's in Jeet kune Do in 1987, he attended many seminars and was certified full Jeet Kune Do Instructor in 1991. He was also later certified as Black Sash Jeet Kune Do Instructor.

Also his certification makes him a very proud 3rd Generation student from Bruce Lee.

Not only is he a well rounded practitioner he also has interests in Western Boxing, Panantukan Dirty Boxing and Kick Boxing.

He is now an Instructor within Martial Arts Boxing Academy and continues his training with Master John Carrigan when he not at the Academy and training with Vincent.
